FINANCIAL AID
Financial Aid is provided in the form of loans, limited scholarships, and
Veteran’s Benefits. Loan applications are processed through local banks and
are easily available at exceptionally competitive interest rates.
Students wishing to apply for financial aid should arrange an appointment
with the HCA Administrative Assistant. Applications for financial aid should
be made as soon as possible after acceptance to assure the award of funds.
Scholarship Aid
Limited scholarship aid is available to students who have completed at least
one full semester (12 credits) at HCA. Some scholarships are competitive;
others are awarded on established criteria. The faculty awards scholarships
annually to students whose art achievement is outstanding and to students who
best exemplify the spirit of Heartwood College of Art.
Veterans Educational Assistance
Pro-rate refunds for veterans and eligible dependents who are recipients of
educational assistance (GI Bill) from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs must
meet applicable Federal requirements.
